Superthrive Foliage-Pro is a houseplant favourite. The liquid formula contains six essential macronutrients and all ten essential micronutrients your plants need for optimal health.
It can be used in soil or your preferred growing medium. It is ideal for phosphorus sensitive plants.
Superthrive Foliage-Pro or Superthrive Grow?
Superthrive Foliage-Pro (9-3-6) and Superthrive Grow (7-9-5) are both complete liquid fertilisers, but the main difference is their nutrient ratios.
Superthrive Foliage-Pro For Lush Foliage Growth:
If your priority is strong leaf and stem development—especially for young plants—opting for a fertiliser with higher nitrogen is ideal. While both options contain ample nitrogen, Superthrive Foliage Pro provides an extra boost, making it particularly effective for promoting vigorous vegetative growth. It’s also a great choice for cuttings, seedlings, and plants sensitive to excess phosphorus.
Superthrive Grow for Encouraging Flowers:
If you have foliage plants that occasionally bloom or plants primarily grown for their flowers, a fertiliser with a lower nitrogen and higher phosphorus ratio can support bud formation and healthy blooms. Superthrive Grow is formulated to maintain vibrant foliage while enhancing flower production.
If you have a mixed jungle of plants and only want to use one fertiliser for all then we recommend Superthrive Grow.

For foliage-dominant plants: Use Foliage-Pro (9-3-6) to promote lush, healthy leaves.

Directions for Use
Note: you will receive one FREE 3ml pipette with every Superthrive order. If you need more pipettes, you will find them here
Regular Feeding: Mix 1 ml per 1.5 litres of water. Apply every watering for consistent growth.
Fast Growth Feeding: Mix 2 ml per 1.5 litres of water. Apply every 1–2 weeks.
Correct Deficiencies: Mix 2 ml per 1 litre of water. Apply the next 2-3 times you water your plants.
What about foliar feeding?
Although designed for root feeding it is also an effective foliar spray.
To prepare the solution, mix 1-2mls of Superthrive Foliage-Pro per 1 litre of water. For more frequent feeding, use a weaker solution of 0.5ml per litre. Pour the diluted solution into a clean spray bottle or pump sprayer.
Lightly mist the tops and undersides of leaves until they are evenly coated but not dripping. Apply in the early morning or late afternoon to prevent leaf burn from direct sunlight and avoid foliar feeding during the hottest part of the day.
For regular maintenance, apply once every 1-2 weeks. Increase to twice a week for plants needing extra nutrients, such as stressed or recovering plants.
Ensure leaves are clean before spraying for better absorption. Use room-temperature water to prevent plant shock.
