Plant Propagation Ball
Usage tips for indoor plants:
Choose a healthy node on the indoor plant you wish to propagate. When selecting the node make sure the plant is robust enough to support the ball. You can put more than one node into the ball.
We recommend using Clonex Rooting Gel. Apply to the node before attaching the ball.
Fill the propagation ball with your choice of substrate. Spagmoss or Tree Fern Fibre work well due to their moisture retaining properties. Fill both sides of the ball. Pack it in fairly tight and make sure the substrate is damp when using. Clip the ball together over the node – or use bands (included in pack) to secure the ball in place. Make sure no leaves go into the ball.
Ensure the substrate inside the ball remains moist throughout the rooting process. Water through the top of the ball with a mix of water and Clonex Clone Solution.
During the next few weeks  roots will begin to form within the propagation ball. The timing can vary depending on the plant and the conditions. With the clear ball you may be able to see the root development.
Once a substantial root system has developed, the new plant can be cut from the parent plant below the propagation ball. It is now ready to be planted into its own pot!
Ideal plants to use:
Any plants with exposed nodes such as Pothos, Monstera, Philodendron and Ficus.
