Forsana Hydrogen Peroxide 6%
What is Hydrogen Peroxide?
Hydrogen Peroxide (H202) is water (H20) with an extra oxygen molecule. That extra oxygen molecule oxidises and it is the oxidation that helps to reduce unwanted microbes in the growing environment. It is non-toxic and biodegradable. In the right concentration it is perfect for plant care. Hydrogen Peroxide occurs naturally in rainwater (the best water for watering plants).
Forsana Hydrogen Peroxide 6%
Forsana has taken the original Oxygen Plus Hydrogen Peroxide 6% and made it even more effective for plants. Silver ions have been added to make it 8 times more effective than hydrogen peroxide alone.
It has been created using distilled water and then diluted to a solution that supports your plant by maintaining a healthier growing environment. The oxygen released as the hydrogen peroxide breaks down can help improve root health. When used as a soil drench or watering solution, hydrogen peroxide aids in improving soil aeration by increasing oxygen availability to plant roots. By breaking down into water and oxygen, it creates a healthier root environment and reduces the risk root rot.

Directions for Use
Hydrogen Peroxide is not a fertiliser. You will need to fertilise your plants separately.
How much Hydrogen Peroxide 6% do you need?
All the Hydrogen Peroxide 3% ratios are mentioned below. Halve these ratios when using Hydrogen Peroxide 6%.
FUNGUS GNAT TREATMENT
Spray the foliage with a mix of 1/2 a cup (125ml) per 1 litre of water. 3:1 water to help eliminate flying fungus gnats. Or add 3 tbsp (45ml) the 300ml Mister 360 Spray Bottle. Note: this is not suitable for sensitive plants such as Orchids and Peace Lilies.
To help address the flying gnats we recommend using uBloomd Sticky Traps. The combination of hydrogen peroxide and traps should eliminate these awful pests.
GROW HEALTHY ROOTS & REDUCE ROOT ROT
In a watering can, mix water and Forsana Hydrogen Peroxide 3% and pour directly into the soil.
Use the following ratios:
Healthy Roots: 10:1 ratio of water to
Root Rot: 1:1 – 2:1 ratio of water to Hydrogen Peroxide 3%
Keep plants Healthy: 16:1 ratio of water to Hydrogen Peroxide 3%
Use every second watering and make sure the substrate is dry before applying.
ENCOURAGE HEALTHY PLANT GROWTH
Mix 4 tbsp (60ml) per litre of water to Hydrogen Peroxide 3% in a watering can or add 1 tbsp to a full 300ml Mister 360 Spray bottle. Water your plants with the solution every other watering.
PLANT MISTING
Mix a 32:1 ratio of water to Hydrogen Peroxide 3% into your spray bottle. Mist your leaves remembering to get underneath the foliage.
(For foliar spraying we suggest you test the solution on a small area of the plant first, as some plants may be sensitive to it. Note: Do not use on Orchids and Peace Lilies as they are known to be sensitive.)
PREPARE YOUR SEEDS
Use 1 tbsp (15ml) per 250ml of water. Let them sit for 1-4 hours then rinse thoroughly with water.
DISEASE-FREE POTTING MIX
Add 1/2 cup (125ml) of Hydrogen Peroxide 3% per litre to your organic growing medium. Leaf in watertight container overnight before using.
REDUCE FUNGAL ISSUES IN PLANTS
Mix equal parts of Hydrogen Peroxide 3% and water. Heavily coat all sides of the roots with the solution to flush the potting mix. Alternatively, use a spray bottle to spray the foliage and stems.
