What is in GT Clonex Rooting Gel?

The gel is a blend of root growth, anti fungal agents, vitamins and minerals. It has 12 essential macro and micro nutrients to feed newly emerging roots the nutrients they need, at the moment and place they need them, plus vitamins to reduce propagation and transplant stress. It has all been formulated in a stable gel which easily adheres to the cutting and seals the cut.

The anti-fungal components help protect the cuttings from disease including fungal and microbial infections.

Indole butyric acid (also known as IBA) is the active ingredient in Clonex. It initiates and promotes new growth.

Directions for Use

Dip the freshly-cut end of your cutting in to the Clonex Gel to about 1.5cms, then put in water or your substrate of choice.

It is easy to use – the purple gel is viscous and adheres easily. After dipping the cutting, tap off the excess and a thin layer will remain on the stem.

Unlike some powders and liquids, Clonex Gel is not mixed with talc, or dissolved in water. It instantly and completely seals the cut tissue.

We recommend using a separate container for dipping to avoid contamination.

The bottle is small at 50ml but you need very little for each cutting so it will last for a long time.
